Steven Blanton

Steven is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for Elliott & Painter.  He handles individual, business, trust, nonprofit, and fiduciary tax return preparation and tax planning, business consulting, and financial statement preparation.

He also works with audits, specifically for nonprofit and governmental entities.  Additionally, Steven is a LPL Financial Advisor in our association with Elliott & Painter Weathcare Advisors.  He works closely with Chris, Gregg and Dick to help refine and enhance their clients investment, accounting and tax planning. 

Steven is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA). He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of South Carolina Upstate. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University.

Outside of the office, Steven serves as Finance Committee Chair for the Upstate Family Resource Center and plays the trumpet in the orchestra at First Baptist Spartanburg. He and his wife, Stephanie, with their three children, and a dog, Ellie. He and his family love to travel anywhere as close as the Blue Ridge Mountains to as far as Japan. They also enjoy the beach, especially the sea islands of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
